Ubi-Q Softgel

NutrinLife Ubi-Q Complex provide 120mg Co-Enzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone) with active form of Vitamin E and Astaxanthin in a single softgel. Both CoQ10 and Vitamin E are well recognized as distinctive energy source and anti-oxidant property to support overall body system health. Astaxanthin help to boost the anti-oxidant level of the body system. All the three ingredient work synergisticly to lower oxidative damage, promote exercise capacity and decrease fatigue. The softgel form keep both CoQ10 and Vitamin E more stable, a better function and absorption for oral consumption purpose.

Description

CoEnzyme Q10 (Ubidecarenone / Ubiquinone)

This fat-soluble substance, present in all respiring eukaryotic cells, primarily in the mitochondria,  participates in  generates  Ninety-five percent of the human body’s energy. Therefore, those organs with the highest energy requirements—such as the heart, liver, and kidney—have the highest CoQ10 concentrations. It also act as a free-radical–scavenging antioxidant

CoQ10 can help in treating heart failure by improving heart function, and limiting oxidative damage. Supplementing with CoQ10 can help to prevent and treat migraines, as it increases mitochondrial function and reduces inflammation. Exercise performance can be affected by oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction. CoQ10 can help lower oxidative damage, promote exercise capacity and decrease fatigue.

There are two major factors that lead to deficiency of CoQ10 in humans: reduced biosynthesis, and increased use by the body.

Some chronic disease conditions (cancer, heart disease, etc.) also are thought to reduce the biosynthesis of and increase the demand for CoQ10 in the body. Statins, a class of cholesterol-lowering drugs, can reduce serum levels of CoQ10 by up to 40%. A 2018 meta-analysis concluded that there was preliminary evidence for oral CoQ10 reducing statin-associated muscle symptoms, including muscle pain, muscle weakness, muscle cramps, and muscle tiredness.

Vitamin E (D-Alpha Tocopherol)
Vitamin E is the collective name for a group of fat-soluble compounds with distinctive antioxidant activities. Alpha- (or α-) tocopherol is the only form of Vitamin E, that is recognized to meet human requirements. This natural Vitamin E is not oxidized and can penetrate to the living cell, providing a less acidic product with a longer shelf life.

The body forms free radicals endogenously when it converts food to energy. The body is also exposed to free radicals from environment exposures, such as cigarette smoke, air pollution, and ultraviolet radiation from the sun.

Free radicals damage cells and might contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant that stops the production of free radicals production when fat undergoes oxidation.

Many claims have been made about vitamin E’s potential to promote health and prevent and treat disease. Vitamin E might provide this protection include its function as an antioxidant and its roles in anti-inflammatory processes, inhibition of platelet aggregation, and immune enhancement. Vitamin E might also help to prevent the formation of blood clots that could lead to a heart attack or venous thromboembolism

Several observational studies have associated lower rates of heart disease with higher vitamin E intakes. One study involved approximately 90,000 nurses found that the incidence of heart disease was 30% to 40% lower in those with the highest intakes of vitamin E, primarily from supplements. Among a group of total 5,133 with men and women followed for a mean of 14 years, higher vitamin E intakes from food were associated with decreased mortality from chronic heart disease.

Astaxanthin
Astaxanthin is a reddish pigment that belongs to a group of chemicals called carotenoids. It occurs naturally in certain algae and causes the pink or red color in salmon, trout, lobster, shrimp, and other seafood.

Astaxanthin is a strong antioxidant that can reduce oxidative stress, inflammation and helps protect the immune system. It can also can help to improve blood flow, help to lovering oxidative stress especially in smokers and overweight people. A comparison study of astaxanthin and other carotenoids showed that it displayed the highest antioxidant activity against free radicals.

Over 500 scientific studies demonstrates astaxanthin’s health benefits in supporting our eye health, heart health, immune support, joint health, skin health and sports performance and recovery
